Everything about Kelly and Dave’s backyard wedding was personal, and beautifully authentic for it. Held at Kelly’s childhood home, in the backyard, it was amazing to be apart of.
Her uncle handcrafted the wedding arch, as well as the handmade canoe nearby. The canoe served double duty as a beverage cache, filled to the brim with ice and inviting guests to grab a drink on their way out the ceremony site.
Pictures of Kelly and Dave were strung out, clothesline style in the house. An heirloom bible that had been in the family for generations was used during the ceremony.
Even the lake’s cranes must have sensed something special was happening. During the processional, they swooped in on their elegant wings and landed on the grassy lawn nearby, letting everyone know with their calls that this was a most special occasion.
The reception was hosted by Renee and her crew at the Carrollwood Country Club afterwards, and they did an incredible job with making everyone feel in the moment and enjoying the party.
