I need to start bringing Casey with me to every shoot. She always has my back, keeps me from looking like a hot mess.

Corinne and Nathan joined me and only me, in downtown St Petersburg and we walked around, stopping wherever there was good light and a pretty backdrop.

“So, what do you guys do for work?’, I say, and desperately try to grab each word as they leave my mouth because I remember at that exact moment that I’ve asked that before, possibly even more than once. Face goes red. I know. Sometimes it’s all I can do to, you know, be a person.

Fortunately Corinne laughed and was oh-so-gracious and patiently explained, yet again, what she and Nathan did. ..Yup.

All I can say is that it’s a good thing I got this photographer thing going, if I had another job that involved communicating with actual words… yikes.
