Amanda and Marc had almost got eaten by the wedding monster.
When I first met them a number of weeks ago, Amanda was all smiles with a fire in her eyes, Marc was there and present in mind and body, a super supportive husband to be.
I had been keeping touch with Amanda since then, and it was clear to me that planning the wedding was definitely taking a bit of a toll on her. So, it was no great surprise when I met them for their engagement session and asked them how the wedding planning was going, they both gave me a trying-to-be-positive-but-this-is-still-really-hard-work look. I really felt for them, I know how much work it is to keep track of and put together a gorgeous wedding.
But that stress had clearly not overwhelmed the more important things, for instance, their being totally smitten by one another. I started their session just like I do all of my engagement sessions, by explaining that the session was going to be a lot more like a date then a photo shoot. Just let go and be in love, I’ll tell you what to do. Trust me, and I’ll make you look great. And boy, did they.
By the end of the session, the stress was gone, replaced by excitement. These two were some of the easiest I’ve ever had the privilege of working with, and they are clearly a gorgeous couple. Add to that all of the fantastic details they are planning for their wedding to the mix, and I’m looking forward to a guaranteed stunner of a wedding!
